Do you always make your children’s drinks for them? Why not give they a chance to do it themselves? Yes, it is messy but what a rich learning experience!
Provide children with a variety of cups and mugs; this is a great time to discuss being safe with breakable objects. Have a jug of warm water, spoons, chocolate powder, milk powder and, of course, marshmallows! Then let them get busy making their own hot chocolate. Our last tip is to set up this experience at a low, outdoor table for easier clean up!
