Traditionally when making fizzing potions we make volcanoes. This time we provided the children with big trays of bicarbonate soda and little bottles or pots of a mixture of food colouring, vinegar and dishwashing liquid. When the children mixed the the substances together it created mini colourful reactions all over the tray.
