Despite there not being a snowflake in sight, even in the Southern Hemisphere snowmen are synonymous with the Christmas season! This hands-on activity is a great one to do over and over or perhaps put together as a kit as a neat gift for a young one.
Mix up a batch of peppermint scented play dough, sprinkled with silver or white glitter. Use craft supplies such as googly eyes, toothpicks, ribbon and small stones to bring your snowman to life. We used orange coloured toothpicks for the nose, but real baby carrots could be a cute alternative. Keep your little Olaf in an airtight container so he can be dismantled and recreated over and over. Of course, there’s only thing he’s missing – any suggestions for a simple black top hat…?!
